Glow system for diesel engines is a device that meets the needs of diesel engines to heat up to reduce the ignition temperature when starting and before fuel is sprayed. It minimizes the noise, vibration and exhaust emissions produced when starting small car and commercial vehicle engines by providing sufficient heat to help engines start in cold environments.

Glow system for diesel engines mainly consists of starting switch, cable, heating energy storage device, hot wire or air heater, and fuel nozzle. When the starter switch is activated, the heating accumulator supplies current to the hot wire or air heater in the combustion chamber to generate heat. This raises the temperature inside the engine to the ignition point of the fuel, allowing it to operate properly.

Currently, there are two main types of Glow systems for diesel engines: preheating and instant. The preheating type refers to preheating to reach the appropriate temperature before starting the engine, while the instant type refers to starting heating immediately when the engine is started.
