Application of Diesel Glow Plug

The Diesel Glow Plug is an electrothermal device used to provide additional combustion assistance to diesel engines during cold starts. Under certain conditions, such as restarting after a cold environment or after a long stop, the diesel engine may take longer to ignite the fuel on its own. Diesel glow plugs increase the flammability of the fuel by heating the air in the preheat chamber ahead of the charge air cooler, making the engine easier to start and run.

Diesel glow plugs have a wide range of applications and are used in almost all diesel engines. For example, large trucks, buses, agricultural, construction and industrial machinery, ships and generators, and diesel cars all require diesel glow plugs to keep the engine running smoothly. They also prevent diesel engine misfires and reduce emissions of harmful emissions, saving fuel and reducing negative environmental impacts.
